This morning my DB server wast enable to connect. I connected to my DB server where runs HP-UX 11v3 and saw some process which were running (making dump file).
After this OS went to restart but started longer than normal startup. I checked SL->Event->warning and there where these informations:

I dont know why there was Panic shutdown and what it means. I guess no power failure was here, coz other servers didn't went restart.
i checked /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log and there are few information about after restart system. Where can i find whole log, what happened and happens?
Coz now DB works very strange, slow and sometimes lost connection. First i want determined what were\are happened\happening with OS. Then will check DB' log. For now DB's log is ok.
thanks for any suggestions and helps.
Regards,
Rustam

SolutionThe init proccess savecrash saves the crash dump information of the system (assuming one
was made when the system crashed) and writes a reboot message in the shutdown log file.
man crashutil,savecrash, crashconf,
Verify thge content of default SAVECRASH_DIR=/var/adm/crash
# cd $SAVECRASH_DIR/
# ll -d crash.*
# cd cras.x
# more INDEX
# more /etc/shutdownlog
From HPUX 11.31 crashinfo is supplied by default and you can find it in /opt/sfm/tools/
crashinfo is an HP-UX crashdump analysis tool. It is supplied for use by, or under the direction of Hewlett-Packard support personnel only.
