What vgscan option that can be usede to exclude storage alternate paths

Hi Guys,

I recently restored my server from Ignite because something crap has happened. After restoration I tried to run an Ignite bu failed because of a minor number problem with vg00 and an unable to query issue with another volume group.

To resolve the issue, i executed vgscan -v to recreate the lvmtab file. The minor number issue of vg00 got resolved, but now my problem is vgscan also scanned all of my storage alternate paths which all of it now cannot be queried by my OS.

What seems to be the problem right now? How can I remove my alternate paths from /etc/lvmtab file?

Before I restored my server from Ignite there is no issue like this. Please advise. TIA
