Where did CORE/patchlevel.h go after perl-5.600 dist?

I am currently compiling the INN 2.3.1 software (no none of the distribution don't work for me!), and I've happened upon a problem I've found.

In the latest distributions of perl (after perl-5.600-4), the file /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/CORE/patchlevel.h is not in the distributions perl-5.600-17 through perl-5.600-27 and so forth.

I have also checked the perl-base distributions for this as well. This file appears to be shipped as part of the packages perl-5.600-4 but not since.

Does anyone have a clue where it is presently?

I hate answering my own question, but here goes (for the archives!).

This file is now in the perl-devel distribution.

Have a Great Day!
