Writing files to DVD

I have searched but not found a simple procedure for writing DVD's.
My Config: HPUX - 11i
IOSCAN: disk 26 0/0/3/0.0.0.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE _NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650A
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0
Has no other device ID and I cannot create one. I need to get a 4.3GB file to a vendor and would like to use my DVD writer as listed above.. I have the DVD Tools of HP installed on the Machine, but am confused as to getting the data to the DVD.
Thanks
Tommy
I may be slow, but I get there !

Re: Writing files to DVD

I attempted:
growisofs -Z /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0 export10.dmp
RESPONSE
:-( unable to open("/dev/rscsi/c0t0l0",O_RDONLY): No such file or directory
:-! consider 'mknod /dev/rscsi/c0t0l0 c 203 0x000002; chmod 0600 /dev/rscsi/c0t0
l0'

I finally understood and followed the yellow brick road..
THanks any way.. sometimes expressing the problem is a solution in itself.
