X server
I have 2 servers, one running HP-UX 10.20 (T600), another is running linux (E60).
I have another client with X server software. It uses XDMCP and works fine in connecting to HP-UX 10.20. But it can not find my linux.
I don't know whether it is a linux problem or X server problem.

Re: X server
TBOSS,
By default if your default run level is 5 (check it in /etc/inittab), you should have a Daemon running called xdm.
The Man Page on my Server is as follows:
xdm - X Display Manager with support for XDMCP, host chooser.
I am not sure about your default run-level or the OS Version, or the X Server version you are running. However, there is a Great Article in Linux Magazine regarding XFree version 4.0.
xdm is highly configurable and can also be configured to ignore the Chooser requests. You'll need to visit the xdm.config file and perform a Man on xdm for additional information.
Hope that gets you started.
