XEN - XP SP 2 doesnt access network

HOST OS: SLES 10 SP1
HOST OS(SLES 10 SP1) ip: 10.0.0.1/24
Guest OS(xp pro sp2) ip: 10.0.0.2/24

installed windows xp pro SP 2 using XEN.

But neither I can access windows XP from Host OS(domain0), nor windows xp can access the HOST OS, or any other physical machine on the lan.

Firewall is disabled on both the Host and Guest OS (SLES and XP).

I also installed SLED 10 as a Guest OS using XEN on the same machine, Host OS(SLES) can access the Guest(SLED) and vice verca. i.e no issue when installing Linux, problem only arrives with XP only

Please help

Regards
Maaz

Shalom,

Open source Xen has large problems supporting anything but Linux guests.

The commercial version does have better support.

You might want to consider the pay-for version to get this done.

Boot the XP(Guest OS) and then installed the latest/updated(download from the realtek website) NIC driver .. issue resolved ;)
