Xhost
Dear All
i have HP-Ux11i which runs oracle8 database and a financial application.in this application we have to print a bdf file from the client workstations(windows) to be able to open this from the server we run (xhost +)command.but we have a problem after a time(specially when there is work on the system).and the xhost command does not work until we log off and login again , and if we do that more than one time it will stuk the system and we need a restart.so what should i do

Re: Xhost
Hi
run the xhost when you login via the .profile and it should always work
/usr/bin/X11/xhost + 2>/dev/null&
If it does not work what errors do you see
Expalin more of how you emulate the login
