accessing a file

i need to give permission to access a file which is present in my home dir to oracle home dir..only myelf & members in oracle group can access the file

Hi,

What is your group just add that group name infront of oracle in /etc/group file for example

now
suraj::101:SA
oracle::107:dba

after
oracle::107:dba,SA

then oracle user will be able to access your file.

SA is your group,, so that all user in your group can access it,,, i need to have only myself and oracle group users to access it

That is an example for SA,

what is your group put it that then you and oracle user can access that file.
