activating snmp to monitor CPU & memory utilization

Hi,

Can someone teach me how to activate snmp so that cpu & memory utilization can be monitored?

The server is running HPUX 11v2.3 and in "/sbin/SnmpAgtStart.d" directory, I have the following :

lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             20 Oct  9  2005 K435SnmpNaa -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpNaa
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             21 Oct  9  2005 S565SnmpMib2 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpMib2
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             21 Oct  9  2005 S565SnmpIpv6 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpIpv6
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             21 Oct  9  2005 K435SnmpMib2 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpMib2
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             21 Oct  9  2005 K435SnmpIpv6 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpIpv6
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 S565SnmpHpunix -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpHpunix
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 K435SnmpHpunix -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpHpunix
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 S565SnmpTrpDst -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpTrpDst
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             20 Oct  9  2005 S565SnmpNaa -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpNaa
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 S560SnmpMaster -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpMaster
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 K440SnmpMaster -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpMaster
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             23 Oct  9  2005 K435SnmpTrpDst -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpTrpDst
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             22 Oct  9  2005 K424SnmpFddi4 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpFddi4
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       sys             22 Oct  9  2005 S576SnmpFddi4 -> /sbin/init.d/SnmpFddi4

Can I just run "/sbin/init.d/SnmpMaster start"?  Will this start the monitoring cpu & memory utilization?

Also, will many and big log files be created such that I need to take note and housekeep ?

Sorry if the questions are silly as I do not have any experience with this.

Thanks !
