adding LUNs to rp3440
I have a rp3440 and it has a msa1000 connected to it via a fiber A6826A card. I recently added some disks and created 4 new LUNs. However the rp3440 does not see them. When I tried rebooting they still are not claimed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: adding LUNs to rp3440
I am not sure HP-UX supports the MSA1000, but that being said, you should see something. Do you see anything at all attached to the FCA? You can post "ioscan -fn".
What does the MSA1000 controller report in its status display?

Re: adding LUNs to rp3440
The MSA must have active-active firmware and the LUNs must be presented in hp-ux mode - otherwise it won't work.
Please check.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: adding LUNs to rp3440
Did you adjust SSP (selective storage presentation)?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: adding LUNs to rp3440
Maybe you are using the wrong profile (must be "hp", not "default" or "windows", etc).
CLI> show tech_support
will show.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
