amount of free/used disk slots

Hi,

a easy question: I have server environment with approx. 400 hp servers  and some other vendors running RHEL 5

now i have to answer the question: can we add two disks to each server.

I am already able to answer this question for the other hw vendors. For the HP ProLiant I played with hpacucli and I am able to get the amount of physical disk, and with the new version (which supports type enclosure) I am able to figure out the amount of slots i have. but i see no chance with

 ACU CLI Version: 8.30-5.0

any idea beside upgrade hpacucli ?
