auto login after X startup

Hi,
I need to configure a machine running Tru64 5.1B, in order to auto login (instead of get the usual user/passord GUI) after X startup (during the machine startup process)
How can I proceed to accomplish that?
xdm-config?
init.d?
??

Note: the graphical environment is CDE.

I don't think we have options to do auto login to a CDE session.

Inside the CDE go to user account management or the sessions and i think there you can find the option to enable default login.
