backup software for Red Hat 6.1

Hello friends

We have 4 file servers on which
Red Hat 6.1 is running.

Can you please suggest a good
backup software for these servers.

The data to be backed up is appprox.
25 GB.

Thank you

Arkeia, that is one of the best.

You can backup more than 300 servers, 200 clients simultaneously with 32 tape devices.

Helo Jig,

I have found 'hostdump.sh' very usefull. Runs on most unix platforms - and can backup local/remote to local device.
See www.backup.central.com/hostdump.html as discussed in O'Reilly's 'Unix Backup & Recovery' - worth its weight in gold.

Re: backup software for Red Hat 6.1

I support Omniback, it is fairly robust and scalable.

OB II 3.1 and 3.5 have some ability to backup LINUX (redhat and suse)

I don't consider Omniback a good choice for Linux unless you also have HPUX or a wide mix of HPUX, Solaris, AIX, and NT in your environment.

If you are just using Linux or Linux and NT, I suspect another product would be better.

Keep it (Omniback) in mind, however, as it is evolving in the right direction.
