can not log into an user account directly, but can su to it from an ordinary account

I don't see anything particularly wrong in .profile, and it has not been changed since 2007, and again I can su to this account from another ordinary account.

It seems that there is PAM Authentication in the login message. Maybe ldap is involved here.

resolved. it is turned out to be ssh issue, settings in sshd_config
the group is missing from that file, but don't know why failed all the suddent
