Re: can't change the users' password in NIS server

remove password strings from password file and save it and then run your nis script ypmake
i.e /var/yp/ypmake

and then try to change password.

here in below example 76/Hq.OjDKN7U should remove if i want to change password and i dont have old password for abcd NIS user.

abcd:76/Hq.OjDKN7U:19899:200:abcd,Bld77 Lvl 1 TTT,1236-1237:/users/abcd:/usr/bin/ksh
