can't find GNU make package

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed GNU_C_C++ 4.3.1, from hp web site. But I can't find GNU make package. Does HP provide runtime version of GNU make, or I need to download it from a theard party.

Hi James,

Thank you for your quick response. But I need an offcial package from HP for installation in a critical production environment. If I could purchase it from HP I prefer doing so.
On my side I have searched HP web site, and in HP-UX DVDs profided by an HP partner, but I can't find it. If I should get it from a third party, could I trust and use the package from the link you have provided in a critical production environment.

Hi (again):

HP doesn't offer everything and the HP-UX Porting Centre is certainly a reputable, completely safe source of open-source code.

The Porting Centre packages its offerings with 'swinstall' so you can install, track and remove anything with the standard HP-UX SD tools (Software Distributer --- 'swlist', 'swinstall', 'swremove', etc.).
