cde will not start

Changed IP address and hosthame on C3000 running hpux 11.11, now get message of "The desktop messaging system system could not start" Any ideas?

How did you change the hostname/IP? Did you use /sbin/setparms to make sure it got changed everywhere it needed to? Has you DNS been updated? This sort of thing is always a name resolution issue. Something got missed.
