cdrecord on HP-UX 10.20

I am trying to install cdrecord on a C3000 workstation. The compilation was successful, but the program does not find the SCSI pass-through driver, nor the IDE CDwriter (although I can mount it or play music on it, and hence the drivers are installed). Any ideas?

Re: cdrecord on HP-UX 10.20

Have you run the MKNOD.hpux script provided with the source?

I've only ever compiled and used on 11.00 with a SCSI burner, so I don't know if it'll work anyway. I have a vague recallection of hearing on SCSI burners worked on HP-UX - but I could be wrong.

Hi,

please have a look here:

Perhaps that helps.

Re: cdrecord on HP-UX 10.20

Matthew - I am trying to set up a SCSI CD-R on HP-UX 11.00 but am having trouble getting MKNOD.hpux-800 to find the SCSI pass through driver and cdrecord to find the drive. I noticed in 'ioscan -nf' that the disc3 driver is bound to the CD-R drive - could this be the problem?

TIA,
Dean
