Re: cfg_ksm_memreq failed message.

Hi,

I did a quick look at this and it appears that there is a patch for this problem.

Please log a support call and we can see if you need this same fix.

Thanks.

Re: cfg_ksm_memreq failed message.

I am wondering if 'collect' is throwing these errors. Can you stop collect and see if you still see these messages?

Re: cfg_ksm_memreq failed message.

Yes, this is related to collect. There is a collect patch (I don't think it's on ITRC... yet) which corrects some other stuff (RAD/CPU fixes). That collect patch was given to another customer with this same problem and it solved this "cfg" problem as well.

Greg, can you send us the text files for the CSP.
Will this fix be included in PK5 - which should be coming out soon (June-ish)...

Re: cfg_ksm_memreq failed message.

Alet,

The CSP I mentioned was to solve a CPU/RAD problem in collect

"...where the RADs are not serially numbered"

but it /apparently/ (correct me if I'm wrong, blv) solved this problem as well.

As for this fix being in the next aggregate patch kit, it doesn't look like it is.

Yes, the fix for CPU/RAD problems fixed this one too. Those fixes _will_ be available in PK5.
