check external health of the system

Hi

I'm running suse 10 on a HP DL585 server
The external health led shows flashing amber -
how do i check the status of the components and clear the amber lights/find out a faulty parts

If you have the proliant support pack installed, run:

# hpasmcli

At the prompt run:

hpasmcli> help show
USAGE: SHOW [ ASR | BOOT | DIMM | F1 | FANS | HT | IML | IPL | NAME | POWERSUPPLY | PXE | SERIAL | SERVER | TEMP | UID | WOL ]

The

hpasmcli> show iml

Command should give you the information needed.

i can't seem to be logout from this utility
ps -ef still shows this process - is it safe to kill it
