cmd to check third party softwares installed

whats the command to check third party softwares installed in HP-UX 11i v1? i mean other than swlist and print_manifest whats the command

There is no single command. If the software was installed with something other than swinstall, then you will have to check manually.

Actually, I take back my previous statement. There is a single command you can use: ls

Since the command would have to be aware of where and how the software was installed, that would be a very difficult one to come up with. Consider the fact that software quite often is installed in /opt, /usr, or most any other directory available to it or created by the installation itself.

Shalom,

Every application has its own inventory system.

Oracle has the oraInventory, swlist only shows depot format software.

No easy way here. It involves manual labor and will almost certainly be incomplete.

It occurred to me your security auditors might have a script that does a pretty good inventory. See if they will share.
