crontab

Hi everyone,
I have a batch file and I want it to be executed every after 30 minutes.
please could anyone provide me with the format should I put it inside crontab.

this would run script after every 30 mnts.

maybe below thing help

#minute (0-59),
#| hour (0-23),
#| | day of the month (1-31),
#| | | month of the year (1-12),
#| | | | day of the week (0-6 with 0=Sunday).
#| | | | | commands
0 2 * * 0,4 /etc/cron.d/logchecker

No, this runs it every hour. One possibility is (there are 29 others):
0,30 * * * *
