dce package on RHEL AS 4/ Update 4

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 4)

Linux hostname1 2.6.9-42.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jul 12 23:27:17 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux.

I have installed couple of servers and now i noticed some of them do not have dce package not installed.

#rpm -qa|grep -i dce
dce-0.1-14

I dont recollect any change in the installation steps in either case.

Any one has a clue what could have caused this difference?

Does any one rember which cd dce-0.1-14 package belongs to?

if i'm not msitaken that is part of the OVO agent installation not RH.

yes, you are almost right.I see in my servers the time stamps of /opt/OV/bin/OpC and /opt/dce-1.1 are same.

I will asign the ponits once i confirmed.

yet to confirm. But OpC agent and dce are installed together..

it it noticed that DCE/OpC ar insstalled together. Not from LINUX installation
