disk image is incompatible with this system

We created some database mount points on a 11.23 system for DBAs to copy data to them. Then a vgexport was done to create a mapfile and copied over to a 11.11 system.. I was able to vgimport the volume group, but having problems with mounting the file systems. I get "vxfs mount: /dev/vg10/lvol3 disk image is incompatible with this system".. Is there any command options for fsadm, or any vxfs patches I can install on the 11.11 system to get around this problem?

Re: disk image is incompatible with this system

Probably not. The 11.23 version is using Vxfs version 5 and the 11.11 is version 4. Ironically, had you done it the other way, the 11.23 box would have been able to handle the 11.11 version. The vxfs versions are designed to be upwardly compatible but not downwardly.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
