disk utilization 100% - bottleneck

Hi ALl,

On one of the SAP cluster, the disks are being used 100%.

Could you please help me in troubleshooting the issue.

Acutally i could not understand the numbers of the basic commands.

Hi,

it may not indicate a bottleneck. run sar -d 5 10 command. and look at the avwait and avserv column of disk disk. which numbers do you see ?

did you get any performance complaints ?
Computers have lots of memory but no imagination

What did you not understand? If you post examples of the numbers and the commands you ran to get them, we may be able to explain.
