dtpad is not working !!!

Whenever I run "dtpad" as a normal user, system gives the following error.

"Could not connect to ToolTalk service: TT_ERR_PROCID The process id passed is not valid."

I am able to run dtpad as root

Run dtpad in standalone mode solved the problem

# dtpad -standAlone
