ext2online command not found
Dear ALL,
I am using RHEL 5.2 and my kernel version is:
2.6.18-92.el5. When i want to grow file system with "ext2online /dev/vg_db/lv_u02" its shows
"-bash: ext2online: command not found". So please help me how can i grow my file system without unmounting the mount point. I can do this by resize2fs but for this i need to unmount file system.
Thanks
Minhaz

Re: ext2online command not found
In RHEL5 the functionality of ext2online is included in resize2fs.
If you use RHEL5 resize2fs on a mounted filesystem, it will say "Filesystem is mounted, doing an on-line resize..." and then do exactly as it says.
