doesn't sound good I know, I am this message whenever the
system tries to boot either
default or via the "boot admin" mode. It dumps the
registers and also throws in a "-4" error for good message.
Whats a good plan of attack here. I cannot even boot from the CDROM device with the 11.00 install media.
MODEL C110
Thanks,
Randy

Solution
Hi Randy:
I assume the '-4' is ENTRY_INIT's status. In that case, a value of '-4' points to the boot path as a possible problem. Since you are experiencing the problem both for a CDROM drive as well as from an internal drive, check cables and SCSI terminators for tight seating.
Regards!

Re: failed_to_initialize
Hi,
Check for the SCSI terminators and loose connections in cables. I think that that will solve your problem.
