fbakup in Single User Mode and Online Mode
Could someone advice me is there different
between forrowing backup situation 1 and situation 2?
1. Using fbackup command to cold backup ORACLE (PRODUCTS/Table Spaces/REDO LOGS/Control Files) in Multi User Mode on HP-UX10.10
2. Using fbackup command to backup ORACLE (PRODUCTS/Table Spaces/REDO LOGS/Control Files) in Single User Mode on HP-UX10.10.

There wouldn't be a difference. This is assuming that the Oracle database has been shutdown. Essentially doing the same files. In single-user mode, you do have the assurance that the files can not be modified via another user.

Re: fbakup in Single User Mode and Online Mode
The other differences, of course, are that you are restricted to using a local tape drive, not backing up any nfs mounted directories when in single user mode, and not being able to monitor/check the log files remotely.
Also, the backup window will be a bit longer to accomodate the transition between run levels.

Re: fbakup in Single User Mode and Online Mode
Once you have shutdown the databases, there is really no need to go to single user mode because the oracle files are not involved in HPUX operating system activities that require no updates at backup period.
