file locking deamon

Dear All;
I'm working with the hummingbird as the interface between the windows application servers and the HP-UX 11i host, however when exploring the directory structures on the hp-ux host from the windows server, it takes a long time to browse and display the directory structure. and I'm suspecting one of the Hummingbird NFS maestro settings which is the file locking on the Unix host, I need to know is there any command to check what is the file locking deamon(and file locking type) that is running on the HP-ux system.

your help and reply will be highly appreciated.
Regards;
Wael

Re: file locking deamon

The locking demon is: rpc.lockd
That and rpc.statd must be running.
