what does this mean.how should i clear this.
/dev/deviceFileSystem (DevFS ) : 0 total allocated Kb
0 free allocated Kb
0 used allocated Kb
100 % allocation used

your question looks not clear,
are you getting this error anywhere?
for your info /dev/ in hpux contain all device file information, Please elaborate more here, thanks,

I guess you are refering to this line in bdf o/p:

DevFS 14 14 0 100% /dev/deviceFileSystem

It's ok and you need not worry about it .

It is a device filesytem which is newly introduced for devices like USB.

You can always stop DevFS by running this command.
#devfs stop

you can stop with or unmount it with.
#devfs stop
