file system permission changed after rebooting the server

HP-UX servers mount several file systems from NAS. The owner / group / permissions are set by the server on the file systems. After a server reboot the file systems are mounted again but the permissions are gone. Is there an option in the fstab to set the permissions at mount time?

Please advise on this.. Many thanks in advance!

This looks like a NAS problem.  For HP-UX NFS server, the file permissions are part of the filesystem and don't change on a

reboot.  (Unless fstab was changed.  ;-)

Unless you are talking about export permissions and again, the NFS server controls that.

The clients could change their name/IP address and be rejected that way.
