firmware level

could some1 help me on how to determine the current firmware level that is on fiber card /

Hi,

As far as I know, you can use 'cstm' to get the details.

/usr/sbin/cstm -> map (look for fiber channel interface and note the corresponding Dev Num) -> select dev -> info -> infolog

You should see a Revision Number in the output.

In X

xstm

click the fiber card, choose information.

You will see a major and minor revision number.

hm...it seems like cstm doesn't give me the PDC driver .... firmware

I'm not sure the fibre card firmware can be checked or updated. I've tried looking before and haven't seen anything about firmware versions.

If you are talking about your PDC version, that is a whole different story.

Try with any of the following;

1. cstm or mstm or xstm

or

You can use tdutil / fcutil commands..Pl check manpages for details
Don't give up. Try till success...
