floating exception on DS20 machine

Hi,

I suddenly got this floating point error.

I tried reboot but still encountered this error.

see attached.

Kinldy help.

Hmm, if it was a software problem, you would expect it to go away when you rebooted.
I was thinking it might be a divide by 0, where the software wasn't protecting itself from bad input.

try "alias" to check "ps" is not reassigned?

I have tried reinstalling the OS but during the installation process error encountered "Floating Exception"

Hi,

That sounds more than likely to be a hardware issue then...

Drop back down to the SRM prompt (P00>>>) and try running the "test" command.
