fsck error

Hi all
What is to be done if fsck found errors in root file system during pre_init_rc?

Hi Dipesh,

We need to know exactly what and where is the error?

In worst case, file system will need restoration. If it is root files system, ignite restoration will be required.

Try to run full fsck after booting from CD and if still there is problem go ahead and ignite the box.

Are these hardware errors??
Otherwise you can attempt to recover from them.
