ftp username & password at root

Hello,

 

At B.11.11 I'm running a cron job that runs a script which using ftp.

This ftp require username and password.

My question is: What file is holding the usernames and passwords for root?

The other users' accounts use the  .netrc file for that issue.

root can use a .netrc file as well.  As with other users the file needs to go in root's home directory, which by default is /.
