How does one restrict access for the ftpuser to a single directory and sub-directories?
Say.../trans
Probably an easy question, but I have a complicated mind.

Solution
There are plenty of sources which can describe the process of setting this up, several in this forums if you know which keywords to look for. Unfortunately forums searchn is not making things easy.
This page:
http://newfdawg.com/SHP-FTP-anon.htm
has a section with headinf "Restricted Access" where you can find how to set it up.
Hope this helps

What's the problem? I looked for:
ftp guest
under HP-UX and found abundant material (some
even useful). I suspect that
ftp chroot
would be similar.
As is often the case, "man ftpd" covers it
pretty well.
