gcore equivalent for tru64 ?

Hi,

Does the Solaris gcore commands (or equivalent) exists on Tru64? Actually i want to generate process coredump.

Killing a running process with "SIGQUIT" with generate a core dump.

Kill the PID of the running process, it generates a core file in its directory
never give up

Well... the idea of gcore is that it doesn't kill the process.

It's possible to attach debuggers (dbx or ladebug) to running processes and it is possible to take a full system dump (livedump) without crashing the system, but I don't believe there is an equivalent of gcore on Tru64 UNIX.
