how I remove the last disk on the rootdg?

because i will not use the "lsm" on my tru64 system(os version v4.0G) ,but I don't remove the last disk on the rootdg?

Hi,

The last disk cannot be removed from its disk group. You will get this error "Operation not allowed on
root disk group " when you try to remove last from rootdg.

Try these cmnds....

# voldg -g rootdg rmdisk dsk
# voldg deport rootdg

# voldisk rm dsk
# voldg rmdisk dsk

are you using LSM on the system disks or on other disks only?
