Re: how can i export display

I'm not aware of a solution to share the display from windows to hp-ux.

From hp-ux to windows you should download and run "mobaxterm" on your PC.

From where to where and how did you share the CDROM???

Hope this helps!

Export HP-UX to a Windows PC:
Get/install Exceed or ReflectionX or CYGwin. On your HP server do: export DISPLAY=<0.0>

Not sure how to export your Windows display to an HP-UX box. Never tried it or wanted to do it.

Export your CD to another Unix server:

Re: how can i export display

As said before - you should download and run "mobaxterm" on your PC.

Start the application and do a ssh from the shell to the hp-ux server. Then start the X application, e.g. xclock.

Hope this helps!

Re: how can i export display

Hi,

From Unix to Windows export is easy ,you just need GUI Management Software as other people stated.

Exceed, Xmanager, Xmanager Enterprise one of them.

As far as I m concerned I use Graphon Tool Goglobal for example in daily maintenance.

But remember, they are not free of charge
