I'm confused. Are you looking for a way to
control an HP-UX server remotely, or are you
looking for an answer to your original
question?
Is there some actual problem which you are
trying to solve? (My psychic powers are too
weak to let me guess what it might be.)

There are HPVMs to use existing hardware more efficiently. And for Integrity blades, you can use that to save power and run the chips slower.

Re: how enable wake on lan on hp-ux
If you review the Integrity server quickspecs you will find some (e.g. rx2600) that supports wake on lan. This belongs to the core I/O card only.
But why not using the MP/iLO to power the hardware on/off?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
