Is there any limitation on how may nfs is allowed to be mounted on a nfs client? we have a web server hosting may sites, more and more nfs directories need to be added which made me a little concerned.
any potential problem with lots of nfs mounted?

Massimo, thank you for the reminder of number of daemons, I guess as a client mount from multiple servers, I only need to increase NUM_NFSIOD.

Solutionif you plan to have a high number of nfs mount, you shuold change the following parameter in
/etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf
NUM_NFSD=16
NUM_NFSIOD=16
May be up to 32 or more.
As far as i know, the maximum is 64.

Basically nfs performance depends much on
underlying filesystem/disk interface performance as well.
