how to change the IP Address

i want to change my production server IP address.kindly help me.

Consider to use "set_parms".

Caution, if not on console, you may loose connectivity until a reboot.
Some application may have the hostname/IP "hardcoded" into their configuration.

Forgot to add - if this is a cluster, procedure is likely different, depending on what IP you want to change.
