how to find a bad disk from using ipmitool and iLO
Hi,
Is there any way to find the status of the disks (and finding which one is bad) using ipmitool and iLO (using lanplus command)? I tried to use:
ipmitool -l lanplus -U user -P password ip sdr entity 67
(pardon the imprecision in the command.)
then it shows some list of drives. But I am not sure whether the same entity will be fixed for all servers or it is very specific to server. I am currently using SL230 server and RHEL6.3x64. But I can move to other server.
Besides, the iLO web page shows some disk related information in the system information page. Is this possible to get the exact same output using ipmitool?
Thanks
