how to monitor LVM

Hi

I want to monitor physical volume, volume group and logical volume.

is there any shell script to do this?

i want a mail to be received by me if any physical volumr / volume group / logical volume goes fail.

for seeing this

vgdisplay -v /dev/vg##

it will display all logical volume and physical volumes belong to this volume group

lvdisplay
pvdisply
see man pages of all theses comnmands
