how to use print screen HP-UX 11

Dear all,

I am new user to Unix, I have two queries like

1) How to Install Netscape navigator in HP-UX 11 and where I can download the same.

2) I am find problem using print screen, please anyone can tell me how take unix screen images.

Hello,

You can download and install Netscape navigator from http://www.hp.com/workstations/risc/standard/software/netscape/
If it is not available in your server.
(Just try, # swlist |grep -i "netscape" and make sure it is installed or not)

or, you can download Mozilla browser from,
http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/mozilla/index.html

You can use xgrabsc-2.4 for taking screenshots, http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/X11/Graphics/

1) Get the mozilla browser from hp software sites and install with swinstall utility.

# swinstall -s

2) You want to screen images then are you using windows machine as client? If so use print screen by selecting task bar and u can take screen shots.

Hi Ya,

1. agree with M. download mozilla from hp site

2. directly from hpux I used xsnap-1.2. it works.. you can download from the hp
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/X11/Graphics/xsnap-1.2/

If you use windows client Fn + stamp then open paint tool and paste the o/p
