I have WIN2000 installed on the first harddisc 20GB
On the second harddisc 80GB I'll install 2 systems:
linux SuSE
and freeBSD
I'll start both systems (linux und freeBSD) with NT Bootloader from WIN2000
SuSE is NOT a problem for me:
- I can install GRUB on the boot sector into the boot sector of a root partition,
- copy linux MBR to floppy:
dd if=/dev/hdb2 of=/media/floppy/bootsek.lin bs=512 count=1
- start windows and copy bootsek.lin from floppy to C:\
- and set c:\bootsek.lin="linux" at boot.ini
so I can start SuSE with WIN2000-Bootmanager without any problems.
but how it works with freeBSD ?
I have setup extra primary partition for freeBSD.
Then I try to install freeBSD
and get this question about Bootselector:
- BootMgr Install the freeBSD Boot Manager
- Standard Install a standard MBR ( no boot manager )
- None Leave the Master Boot Record untouched
which option should I choose in my case ?
"None" seems to me logically.
And how should I configure to start freeBSD with WIN2000-Bootmanager ?

Re: howto start freeBSD with WIN2000-Bootmanager ?
It's a bit too specific a question to software (FreeBSD's boot-loader) that I've not seen any discussion here about previously.
