hp9000 snmp hardware monitoring
Is there a way to query the hardware health status on an hp9000 vi snmp, such as disk failure, power supply failure, etc. ? I have hp insight manager installed on hpux 11.31, and the hp version of snmp running, but all I can query are things such as free memory, cpu load, and disk usage. Useful statistics to be sure, but none that show me any imminent or current hardware failure? Is there such a thing for the hp9000? I know I can do run these snmp queries on hp/compaq machines running windows, but the snmp oids/nagios plugins do not work for these, so obviously the oids are different. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I've already googled the heck out of this subject!
