hpacucli startup error
Hi,
We have a new DL380 Gen8 with P420i controller here.
OS is Red Hat Enterprise 5.8, x86_64, Kernel 2.6.18
Problem:
When trying to start up the hpacucli tools it needs 10 to 15 minutes to detect the controller.
I tried different versions of the hpacucli package (9.0, 9.20, 9.30) but nothing changes.
Inside hpacucli there are similar problems. A "ctrl all show status" needs 10 to 15 minutes, but when I explicitely define the controlly by using "ctrl slot=0 show status" the information I need were presented instantly.
The Problem is anywhere in the hpacucli package. Same problems with an older G7 server with a P410 controller. BUT: The controller is supported by an older 8.28-release of hpacucli. With this version everything is fine, hpacucli startup and information retrieval is done within seconds.
Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this issue?
