ignite bkup problem...

Hi guys,
When im firing ignite backup ..its actually backing up all the vg's including vg's which r not part of vg00........
make_tape_recovery -A -I -t "Ignite Backup 30032007" -x inc_entire=vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn

Can you post the log for the ignite backup please.

what version of ignite ?
what version of OS ?

Actually my version of ignite was older one..i have upgraded it now its working fine...thanx...........

Hi Boomer,

Could you try this one first :

# /opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -v -A -x inc_entire=/dev/vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn

If still failed, please attach the file below :

/var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log

Hi Boomer,

-A option that we use general means a reference of include list of the files & vg's to be backedup, so check for the archive file content, it could be
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/arch.include
or
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archive_content
